GIE aims to become the biggest producer and supplier of best quality solar salt for industrial and edible purposes to local and regional market.
MISSION
GIE has established solar salt works for industrial salt production in Oman. The production and supplying facility, would be of tremendous benefit to the Oil & Gas sector and the local economy. It has created employment opportunities for Omani Nationals. Our mission is to make Oman self-sufficient in Sodium Chloride (NaCl) for all required grades including industrial, food, cooking, chlor alkali etc. and to get notable share in GCC market by supplying the high quality Solar Salt.
